Neecie and Deenie come to visit

My cousins came to visit, and we had so much fun! Deenie lives in L.A. Neecie, her husband, Brent, and two boys, Bryce and Tyler live in Brandon, MS.

Ben and Bryce eating cheese toast for breakfast. Well, Bryce is eating, and Ben is trying to attach foam pieces to a piece of construction paper. Ben's been boycotting breakfast lately.

Tyler and Abby showing off their sitting skills.

We went to the splash park one day. We all had a blast there!

Abby is a little water baby like her brother. I couldn't get Ben to hold still long enough for a picture.

Tyler taking a break from the water.

Well, it was worth a shot. We tried to take a group picture at the Japanese restaurant we went to for dinner. None of the kids are looking at the camera, and Brent has his eyes closed. And the waiter has the camera focused on the sushi boat (the red thing).

Bath time!!!

Another Handful of Pictures

Trace finally captured both of them smiling!

How freakin' cute!!!

One of a handful of times that Abby ever had a bottle :)

Jacob and Ben having lunch (in the foyer), and Abby longingly looking on :)

Ben rediscovered his bike helmet and pads and wanted to go ride his bike.

...and play his kazoo :)

A very cute father and son picture at the park.

Fun in the Fountain

Ben had so much fun playing in this fountain in a shopping area near us.

Benjamin was trying to drink the water.

4th of July in Jackson

My bro, John, and Abby. Ben and Abby loved to wake up John by crawling and jumping on him. He loved it :)

Ben and Mimi sharing a bowl of cereal

Four Generations :)

Everyone says Abigail and Grandma look alike. I definitely see it with their eyes.

Abby and my cousin, Katie. I was in Katie's wedding in December when I was VERY pregnant with Abby...oh, and I sprained my ankle and skinned up my knees right before the wedding :)

She's very into her toes. And look at those thighs!!!

We went to the Ridgeland balloon glow with my dad. They were so pretty.

Ben didn't know what to think. He was a little scared of the fire and the noise when they lit them up.

My cousin, Neecie's, youngest boy, Tyler. Such a cutie!! I was so bad and didn't take any pictures of Bryce and Ben...they wouldn't hold still long enough!

Abigail checking out her cousin. I have another picture of her trying to eat his head...can you feel the love?

I love that we're just holding them up together, and they could care less.

Abby was working on her sitting up skills.

My Uncle George and Aunt Loretta...or Uncle Geo and Aunt Lo :)

Aunt Lo and Tyler

Mike, my sister's boyfriend, and Abby. Mike's awesome! and Ben made him his best friend :)

Ben helped Pop and Mike work on Aunt Kat's car. You know Ben did all the work and Pop just took the credit ;)

Abby and Ben jumping on Uncle John again :) Ben's doing some weird smile.

My cuties playing around

Photo Shoot with Abby

I did a little photo shoot with Abby in our dining room window, and no, I'm not quitting my day job. Wait, I don't have a day job :)

Her SUPER cute dress was a baptism gift from Dr. and Mrs. Gandy, Gina's parents. It inspired the photo shoot :) We had just come from church.

And that gorgeous bracelet was another baptism gift. My grandparents, my mom's parents, gave that to her.

Ok, I'm sorry, but isn't she ADORABLE?!

Caro and Richard came for a visit

One of my best friends, Carolyn, and her husband, Richard, were in town. They came to the house to hang out, and then we headed to dinner.

So, I had the brilliant idea to go to a restaurant with a beach for Ben to play. Sounds good except that it was a million degrees outside, and we were getting BAKED!

Ben and Caro playing "princesses" with pillow covers...don't ask :)

One of my favorite Abigail expressions.

Pics from around the house

I just love this picture - even the food on his mouth :)

Passed out naked in her highchair...hopefully, this isn't a sign of what's to come.

I don't even know what to say about this one...Haha!

Two cuties!

Holy Cow!

...do I have a TON of pictures and videos to upload! This might take me a couple of days. A few are coming your way tonight :)

Abby enjoying the seat that her cousin, Jacob, let her borrow :)

Father's Day 2008

For Father's Day we went to the Dallas World Aquarium. It's kind of a rainforest meets aquarium. We had a lot of fun :)

Unfortunately, the only picture I got of Trace with both kids.

A rare shot of Ben actually looking at the camera instead of the waterfall.

Ben loved looking at this tank with all kinds of fish, turtles and manatees (that's the tail of one on the right)

Looking so calm with sharks swimming behind them.

Ben "cooking"

We had our toaster oven on the floor of the dining room while we were tiling our kitchen backsplash. Ben decided to take this opportunity to do some "cooking" with the pink frisbee we had gotten that morning when we did the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure walk :)

Abigail's First Food - rice cereal, YUM!

Abigail has been eyeing us eating food for awhile now, so we've finally indulged her with some super yummy rice cereal. She loved it!!

Her first bite

More, Mama, more!!

I like it!!!
